What you need
- A current Australian licence of the class shown on the vehicle, held for 12+ months
- Aged 21 or over (under-25 surcharge applies)
- A credit card in the driver’s name for the bond pre-authorisation
- ABN and company details for business and long-term hires
- Proof of address if you are not an existing customer

- Tie-down straps and rails on trays and pantechs

Not included: fuel (return full), tolls (e-Toll account can be arranged), excess kilometres, damage excess.
Hire FAQs
What licence do I need?
Anything up to 4.5 t GVM (our 3.5 t pantechs and 4.5 t trays) can be driven on a standard car (C) licence. Over 4.5 t you need an LR, MR or HR licence depending on the truck – each vehicle shows the class required.
What is included in the rate?
Registration, comprehensive insurance (an excess applies), scheduled maintenance and roadside assistance. You cover fuel, tolls and any kilometres over the daily allowance.
Is there a bond?
Yes. A bond is pre-authorised on a credit card at pick-up and released after the vehicle is returned undamaged with a full tank. The amount is shown on each vehicle.
Minimum age and licence history?
Drivers must be 21 or over and have held their licence for at least 12 months. Drivers under 25 may attract a young-driver surcharge.
Can I hire long-term or lease?
Yes. Monthly rates drop significantly and we offer 3, 6 and 12 month leases to ABN holders. If you end up wanting to buy, ask about rent-to-buy on our ex-fleet stock.
Do you deliver hire vehicles?
Within the Sydney metro area we can deliver and collect for a fee. Ask when you request a quote.
What about damage to the overhead body?
Overhead and roof damage on pantechs and curtainsiders is a common exclusion in hire insurance. Know your vehicle height (it is on the dash) and plan your route.
